Healthy Ageing & Mobility

Age is not a barrier to movement — it's a reason to prioritise it.

Exercise for Healthy Ageing

Staying active as we age is one of the most powerful things we can do for our health, independence and quality of life. Regular, structured exercise reduces the risk of falls, slows the progression of chronic disease, improves bone density, maintains muscle mass and supports mental wellbeing — at any age.

At SSEP, our Accredited Exercise Physiologists work with older adults to design safe, enjoyable and effective programs that support healthy ageing and help maintain independence for longer.

What We Address

Our team works with older adults managing a wide range of age-related health concerns, including:

  • Reduced strength and muscle mass (sarcopenia)

  • Osteoporosis and low bone density
  • Osteoarthritis and joint pain
  • Cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes
